Creative Education Rooted in Access, Ownership & Community
CRE8 Creative Futures is a Los Angeles-based creative entrepreneurship and fashion education program that helps young people build confidence, leadership, business knowledge, and career awareness through hands-on learning.
CRE8 was founded on a simple belief: creative talent exists in every community, but access, mentorship, and professional exposure do not. We are particularly committed to helping students from Black, Brown, Afro-Latino, and historically underserved communities recognize the value of their ideas and the possibilities within creative industries.
Through fashion, branding, design, entrepreneurship, and creative storytelling, students learn how to develop ideas, build meaningful projects, and see themselves as creators, leaders, entrepreneurs, and owners.
WHY CRE8 EXISTS
Many young people are encouraged to be creative but are never shown how their creativity can connect to a career, business, portfolio, or meaningful future.
CRE8 bridges that gap by combining creative expression with entrepreneurship, leadership, mentorship, and real-world career exploration.

Our mission is to expand access to creative opportunity and equip young people with the confidence, knowledge, exposure, and practical tools to create, lead, build, and own their futures.
MEET THE FOUNDER Uriel Bernard
Uriel Bernard is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist, creative director, and entrepreneur whose work spans fashion, visual art, branding, production, and storytelling.
Since 2023, he has designed professionally for Sugarhill Apparel, Gala Original, and other brands, with work distributed through retail and e-commerce nationwide. He also leads his own label, U.R.i. STUDIOS, directing everything from garment design to campaigns and visual identity.
As an exhibiting artist and curator with Art Roots Mambí, Uriel has supported underserved Caribbean youth through creative programming, cultural exchange, and humanitarian work. His experience also includes producing international activations, including a U.R.i. STUDIOS pop-up in Tokyo in May 2026.
Uriel studied finance and art and competed as an NCAA Division I athlete, experiences that shaped the discipline, leadership, and ownership mindset behind his work.
Growing up as an Afro-Latino creative in Los Angeles, Uriel saw that many young people possessed creativity but lacked access to mentorship, entrepreneurship education, and alternative career pathways. He created CRE8 Creative Futures to help students turn their ideas into opportunities by learning how to create, direct, build, and think like owners.
